NEW ZEALAND MALAYA VETERANS ASSOCIATION
Ken served in Malaya with 1 NZ Regt 1957-1959 and 1961-1963. Qualified in law in 1984 and served as a Maori Land Court Judge. Also served as the Cook Islands' Chief Justice. Ken is a Trustee of The Whakaue Charitable Trust and is resident in Rotorua.
Te Kei Joined army in 1959 and served in Malaya with 2 NZ Regt. He continued serving and deployed to Malaysia in 1963-65 with 1 RNZIR. Attained WO 1 rank and was RSM of the 6th (Hauraki) Battalion RNZIR from 1979-82. Resident in Rotorua, Te Kei is a Maori Liaison Officer with D.O.C. New Zealand.
